Military Outreach for Service is a Tier-2 IRS Employee Resource Organization (upgraded from a Tier-1 Employee Organization).
As differentiated by a Tier-1 Employee Organization (EO), a Tier-2 ERG is viewed as a business asset to the IRS, and has partnered with IRS Diversity & Inclusion to align with IRS business strategy.
Structure
The National Office of MOS consists of:
- 5 elected, and voting board members
- 2 appointed, and non-voting board members
- 1 non-voting executive sponsor
Additionally, Chapter Presidents are highly-encouraged to participate in decisions made in the national office, to ensure the organization is always focused on the needs of the membership.
