The M.O.S.T. Chapter has a tradition of sending comforts of home and little surprises to American service members deployed overseas. This past December 2017, Chapter members collected, paid for (over $600), and shipped over 60 care packages to ship to deployed members of the Utah National Guard. While in the interest of their security, we cannot tell you where the package recipients are stationed, we can share their letter of thanks to M.O.S.T. member Jackie Green:
Jackie,
I want to begin by saying thank you so much for the boxes and boxes of gifts you sent. You brought so many smiles to faces, created so many laughs and made this years Christmas one that my soldiers will never forget. Attached are some pictures of the happiness that you are responsible for. Myself, the commander and our Platoon leadership got together on Christmas eve and stuffed the bags as full as we could and delivered them to the soldiers room throughout the night, and we were only caught twice! It was super fun and the soldiers thought it was great. On Christmas day we had a little unit Christmas party with a white elephant gift exchange. You brought so many laughs with that. Because of your thoughtfulness, selflessness and kindness these smiles, laughs and great time are a reflection of you, your character and the amazing person you are. Once again, I can never thank you enough.
