DC MOS Member Addresses Speaks to Black History Month

Body

E. Faith BellWashington, DC MOS chapter member E. Faith Bell, also director of IT Management Services Division, spoke at a Black History Month event at IRS headquarters on February 26, 2014.

Faith spoke of her life-long journey in search of equality and spoke highly of IRS employees who had overcome barriers to make a difference at our agency.

In her speech, Faith paid special tribute to veterans and active duty military: "I salute with extreme devotion the fine men and women, some of whom are in this room, who wore or are wearing uniforms of distinction in our armed forces, and stand in the gap of life and death to ensure that freedom."

While not a veteran herself, Faith has close relatives who served in the military service and she has donated time and effort to numerous veteran causes in their honor.
