The Texas Capitol Vietnam War Monument is a proposed 14-foot tall statue to honor the more than 500,000 Texans who served in the war and the 3,416 who sacrificed their lives there. The granite and bronze monument, sculptured by western artist Duke Sundt, will stand on the northeast corner of the Capitol grounds when sufficient funds have been raised.
