These organizations accept charitable contributions and are all part of the Combined Federal Campaign. • American Red Cross -- provides emergency communications between American servicemen and women and their families during emergencies, provides financial assistance, travel assistance, and information and referral services.
  • Army Emergency Relief -- provides emergency financial relief to Army soldiers and their dependents. The nonprofit operates in partnership with the Department of the Army and funds are made available through company commanders.
  • Military.Com --  provides a comprehensive list of nonprofit organizations vetted by the Department of Defense.
  • Military OneSource -- provides a comprehensive list of U.S. military medical resources to help prevent suicide among active duty, guard, and reserve military and dependents. In an emergency, call 1-800-342-9647, toll-free, and available 24/7.
