Memorial Day 2013

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery
Memorial Day starts the Thursday before with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, also known as the Old Guard, placing American flags at the gravestone of each person buried in Arlington National Cemetery. The next night, Rolling Thunder conducts a candlelight vigil at the Vietnam War Memorial. Over the next three days across our country, patriotic citizens will honor the fallen soldier with tributes, ceremonies, and parades. (For veterans unable to get out, look at your PBS station on Sunday evening for the Memorial Day concert, narrated by Gary Sinise.)

I don't have the words to express how I or anyone should feel about those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country but the video,
The Path of the Warrior, is a good start. Please take a few minutes to watch it.
